I was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California and I now live a few miles south in Carpinteria with my husband and five children. My mother is a watercolor artist and I grew up watching her draw, paint, and create just about anything. Growing up around her artwork impressed upon me an appreciation for art and the creative process.

I bought my first watercolor paints in 2014 after taking a couple of watercolor classes at Santa Barbara City College while my husband attended night school. I fell in love with the medium, and I started painting more after my daughter, Audrey June, was born in June 2015. What started as a hobby and necessity to fill the walls with children’s art for our nursery, has grown into this small business.

My artwork is inspired by my love for home and hearth, motherhood and our daily life. I appreciate the words of Henry Ward Beecher, “The art of being happy lies in the power of extracting happiness from common things.” Welcome to J U N E  W A T E R C O L O R, I am so glad you are here!
